Everybody Hurts

Recommended Posts

Not long ago, I lost yet another friend. His name was Jacob, and he was a good friend. I have lost many good friends due to suicide in the past few years.

Every time one of my fellow combat veterans chooses to end their lives; I begin to think about what I can do to help when I can't tell the signs? What if there are no signs because they wear an invisible mask that shows a happy-go-lucky individual that it's hurting inside?

Don't want to talk about it with someone close to you? No problem! Don't let your mask define you! Please reach out to someone!

Here are some numbers you could use to talk to someone whenever you need them.
